San Diego Comic Con 2024 took place on July 25 to 28, 2024 at the San Diego Convention Center in downtown San Diego. This is our fourth comic con since lockdown has been lifted. SDCC is celebrated as the grand daddy and OG of all comic cons. This highly coveted event sells out every year and attracts nerds of all fandoms to gather at the San Diego Bayfront. Hollywood has also made a huge comeback taking over Hall H with a special screening of Deadpool and Wolverine on Thursday and a star studded Marvel announcement on Saturday.
Our team was once again invited to provide panels to San Diego Comic Con. We were invited to present “In My 2K Era: Anime Fandom at the Turn of the Millennium.” This panel was also my announcement panel for my upcoming book, “The Fangirl Diaries.” This comic con marked a huge milestone for me to announce my book and celebrate my debut as a writer. Scarlet Rhapsody has been online since 1999 and we have been writing con reports since June 2000.
