Final Fantasy Fan Fest 2026 took place on April 24 – April 25, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. This is a fan convention for Final Fantasy XIV players, otherwise known as Warriors of Light. The two day event is full of announcements, behind the scenes panels, and concerts to top off each day. Thousands of tickets sold out within the first day of sales. I was lucky to get a ticket from a friend. While this two day event was costly at $260, this was a celebration of all things Eorzea.
I admit, I’ve only played through the first few expansions and been online on and off for the past three years. I got into Final Fantasy XIV because I wanted to learn more about the mythology that inspired the Final Fantasy series, but the more I dived into Eorzea, I found myself also picking up Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy IV. This is my first Fan Fest, I didn’t know what to expect. I just wanted to go with the flow and let whatever happens, happens.
