Gateway took place on September 1 – 4, 2023 at the Los Angeles Hilton Hotel next to LAX. This event, hosted by Strategicon, is a four day table top gaming convention. Southern California had three different events occurring on Labor Day Weekend – Anime Impulse, Long Beach Comic Con, and Gateway. While this is a small event and areas of the con can be accessed for free, there’s no denying that table top gaming has gained a resurgence in the past few years.
