Not personal, just cosplay. For as long as I have been living, dressing up on Halloween has always been a spectacle. Halloween is a special time of the year when I get dressed up in something pretty and flaunt it. This year's Halloween events was very diverse. First, the anime club held a trivia contest. Some of the anime club members dressed up. Second, Tom had free tickets to Great America and we spent part of our day there. Third, we went to Gaskell, a masquerade ballroom event in Oakland. Finally, how about spending Halloween at an anime convention? Yaoi Con may seem like a fright to some, but all in good fun for Traveling Valentine. I would be debuting a new costume at this anime convention. Though not exactly anime, it was an excuse to crossplay as one of my all time favorite popular culture icons (thanks Tom for helping me gather the items!). Enjoy this Halloween reportage!
