In Yaoi Con, fangirls are more dangerous than shotguns. Halloween arrived Sunday morning. I gathered the gear I needed for my Michael Corleone costume. The hardest task was getting the hair right. I kept rewinding the restaurant scene in part one to keep referring to Al Pacino's hair. In the end, I did what I could. Tom decided to be Zuki from the Battle Royale manga. Since the guy is gay, it would be appropriate for Yaoi Con. Eh...I just wanted an excuse to crossplay as Don Corleone.

Though Yaoi Con was a weekend event, Traveling Valentine only showed up for the last day. The last day happened to take place during Halloween. Well, we decided we should just show up to chill with friends. However, most of our friends were either asleep or were in the con parameters when we got there. I ran into Eve for a quick moment. So, we ran into Hiku and friends. They dished the dirt what happened during the weekend. Something about stripping and the bishy auction.

Oh well, to kill some time, Traveling Valentine took renactments pictures of the famous scene from The Godfather.

For the most part, we just chilled out with Juan (you are f'in insane!), CJ, and Gladys. They were whoring my fedora around. A Wrath showed up and started gunning down Tom. We started comparing gloomy's and talk about the old days.

And then Sunshine came out in her yakuza (ep 115) Prince of Tennis costume. I thought it would be useful for Black Hand (The Godfather Part II) photo ops. Though it is quite anachronistic for Michael Corleone to go against Don Fanucci.

Finally, we were able to meet with Karisu, Richard, and the Chibiko. We went out to lunch in old town of Burlingame (I think that was it). They were in the mood for Mexican food, so we followed suite. Interesting enough, they were all out of the Mexican food that I dig, so I went for something new. Karisu and I talked about evil photographers. Funny, that's how we first met - at Yaoi Con during lunch talking about the same evil photographer! Thanks for bringing us out to lunch, Richard and Karisu! ^_^ We got back to the con area and decided to just hang out some more. I ran into Masako. I offered to help her with her things. (I forgot her wig! d'oh!)

We were entertained by Juan's greatest hits. Apparantly, there are things that Tom hasn't told me. The truth comes out in Juan's songs. We also met up with other people who showed up later. Tom said he spotted a Nando and an Elly. We ran into Soujiroh, Matt (all the way from SoCal), Cheryl, Yami, and Sergio.

Afterwards, we were about done with the con. Tom had to leave early so he can be home early. We took final Battle Royale pictures on the outside. We then went back to San Francisco State and napped on the sofa. We were that tired!
