Remember how I said I'd like to catch the BART on time? Well, I woke up at about 6AM. I was ready to go at 6:30AM. It was still dark outside, but I went along anyway. Unfortunately, the next Muni to Balboa would be in eighty three minutes. I'm not waiting that long! So, I just wait for the 28 to take me to the Daly City station. I saw some interesting sights on the road. Note to self: never drive in San Francisco in the wee hours of day. You get a ton of stupid drivers. Fortunately, twenty minutes later, there was an Inbound coming in quickly. I was able to catch that. I rode until the end of the line, and took the Embarcadero BART to the Freemont BART. I decided to take a nap on BART. Tom then picked me up. There was still time left before going to Great America. The park didn't open for a bit, so we just rested up at his house.

The park did open, and we got there later than scheduled, but that's okay. We did have one extra ticket to scalp around. No buyers, so Tom left it on a corner and we waited for someone to pick it up. Great America was really crowded that day. There was not a whole much we could do. We thought about going on Top Gun, but that ride broke down. The line for Psycho Mouse was pretty long, and the one for The Grizzley was even longer. Don't get us started on the lines for food. Because this was Great America's last weekend open, everyone wanted their last cheap thrill before it would be closed for the winter.

things to do in line...

some Indian fest was happening here

However, despite not doing a whole lot at Great America, Tom and I took one of those antique pictures. We did it 1920s style. Well, since our tickets to Great America was free, might as well take advantage of this time. Oh, and there were other nice quirks about Great America being that it is owned by Paramount...

After spending the day at Great America, Tom and I went back to Milpitas for rest and relaxation before the next event...
