Long Beach Comic Con 2011 took place on October 29 - 31, 2011 at the Long Beach Convention Center in downtown Long Beach. This is the second time the city of Long Beach hosted a comic book event. The event had more panels and more events going on. The dates changed from early October to late October to allow room for costumers to celebrate Halloween weekend at the convention. What can be appreciated about Long Beach Comic Con is a celebration for the love of comics. Unlike larger events with the comic con name attached to it, Long Beach Comic Con remains truthful to its paperback roots and aims to please the most hardcore comic book fans.
