Pacific Media Expo 2010 took place on November 12 – 14, 2010 at the Pasadena Hilton hotel in downtown Pasadena. Not too far is famous Colorado Boulevard, home route to the annual Tournament of Roses Parade. Pacific Media Expo encompasses everything Asian culture. Each year, the show brings forth more and more aspects of popular Asian culture. This includes film, animation, street fashion, martial arts, and food. Unlike most anime and cosplay related events, Pacific Media Expo has a little bit of everything for the Asian aficionado inside of us. While Japanese popular culture is a main staple for the events, there is still plenty to explore.
Stan, Deb, Victoria, and Jared attended the event. Stan focused on his work with Plastic Joint, but contributed on the podcast with Deb. Victoria photographed the event and has done web editing for the report. Jared wrote the main copy for the report.
