On 9/10/07, I recieved my first larger sized doll, Sherry / Scarlett (Custom House Choa). Why the two names? She has two seperate personalities. Her Scarlett personality decided to make it to Yaoi Con. Of course, had to leave Cosette and Eponine home since this was an adult convention, but the tea party was certainly friendly to MSDs and Tinies!

Traveling Valentine joined forces with Dollectable's raffle. Tom plans to set up an armory shop that sells guns for ball jointed dolls. A shotgun was donated for the Dollectable raffle. Several of our friends joined us - Nando, Katie, Astro, Diana, Tog, and a few others. There were a few mishaps at the gathering such as the lack of shade. It was a scorcher on Sunday afternoon. The hotel finally decided to let us use the umbrellas.

The tea party event was held at the main courtyard. You can get yourself a variety of tea and buy some tea treats like cake and cookies.

And if you were dragged into this event by your significant other, you just stayed in your own corner in your own little world.

Yet, Tom was playing the part of a Resident Evil 4 merchant - selling weapons to dolls. WELCOME! What are you buying? What are you selling? Scarlett being the FBI Agent she is was armed and ready in case if any Megatrons Bermans or Optimus Primes Isaos were present...

Of course there were other things present in the surrounding area...like ninjas! Of course, it would not be a Traveling Valentine event without terrorizing Eurobeat King with our dolls. As the event dwindled on, Astro and Diana made impersonations of various weird looking dolls. Astro put on her best Narae and Diana put on her Lulzworthy Belladona.

Of course, the day was coming to an end. A majority of our friends already were en route home. My flight back to Los Angeles was not until 10PM later in the evening. Grant suggested that we all go out to dinner in the South Bay. Grant and his crew, Ebi and Stunt Man Mike, and Traveling Valentine plotted to hit Armadillo's in Cupertino. Yet, we weren't going to say bye bye to Yaoi Con so fast. We thought we said our bye bye's to Astro and Diana at the doll gathering. We were wrong. We ran into them again at the parking lot! The simple random things in life...

A whole group of us had a great post-con dinner in the South Bay. Yet, meanwhile, back at Tom's house, Agent Scarlett realizes she's not alone...
