"I think you're funny, you're funny, ha, ha"

The highlight for the fans of costuming talent of WonderCon: The Masquerade. Usually, Masquerade coverage would consist of sketch summaries followed by backstage photos of the costume entries. But due to the halved staff on hand and shrugging off half the equipment due to weather fears, only backstage photos are available. One should be able to locate WonderCon Masquerade footage online.

When doing THIS is considered fun, boredom has surely set in.

I reunited with BART Boy after dinner and we awaited admittance into the seating area. Once the doors that were scheduled to open at 8PM opened at about 7:30PM due to the Staff deciding that having their audience stand out in the rain was a bad thing, the Press photographers rendezvoused into our designated backstage photo area. BART Boy helped set up the backdrop.

Lionel oriented us photographers on the various possibilities and poses that were coming our way.

The Child entry.

The Teenager/Adult entry.

The Giant Monster entry.

I heard at Comic-Con there was a simulcast of the Masquerade for us in the backstage so we'd have an easier time describing the acts, but WonderCon lacked that feature. Perhaps if attendance soars, this may happen next year.

Then the participants paraded into the photographer area to show off their costumes. Credit to Christophe and Dany for providing info on the awards.
