Another weekend up in Northern California. Tales of Anime marks Traveling Valentine's third Northern California convention as well as my third time flying up to the Bay Area in 2007. What can I say? Ever since I graduated San Francisco State, I've missed being in the Bay Area. I felt as if a part of me was gone once I moved back to Los Angeles. It always feels great to be back in the Bay.

Tom and I have been to Tales of Anime since the beginning. We had a wonderful time at the first one day event back in 2004. Not to mention, we won Best Group in the first masquerade alongside our friends Adam and Masako. It was a great cosplay show this year with much sugar being thrown at the audience. While a majority of the usual photographers went out of state to Sakura Con and AniZona, coverage teams such as Consplayers, Bart Boy, California Cosplay Times, Cal Anime Photos, and of course, us were there to cover Tales of Anime. We know how much you guys love looking at pictures after the con, thank you for showing off your best.

Tom and I are very grateful to be given press access for Tales of Anime. Thank you very much for this oppurtunity.

As mentioned before, it was great to see friends again. My only regret is not seeing some of you as much as I would have wanted to. There is so much to get caught up on that livejournal and AIM conversations cannot convey. It was really nice seeing all of you again, as well as getting to know some acquaintences even better.

Most of all, many thanks goes to Tom. For those of you who didn't know, the first two tapes of Tales of Anime are missing. However, most of Masquerade and the Peeps Pr0n was caught on tape. Thank you for securing the hotel room. Thank you for the wonderful weekend spent with you. Thank you for everything! I miss you very much, and I can only look forward to our next adventure in Chicago.

You heard that right, Traveling Valentine will be going to the windy city in May. Otherwise, we shall return for Fanime. Thank you, Tales of Anime.
