Gaming Hall by Jared
The gaming hall featured both indie games and the usual stock games that everyone expects to see in the gaming room. There were not very long lines or waits for the games, which helped keep a relaxed atmosphere in the room. Then there was the indie section where indie developers could show off their current games to the convention audience. It was a nice addition that many people really liked and sets the gaming hall apart from other halls. One of the standout booths was a basketball game that featured more board game based rule set.

Otakon Museum by Jared
Celebrating the long history of Otakon the museum featured old badges, guide books, and fun facts about the different events. It is a nice pit stop when you want a break from the usual convention offerings. There is even a little photoshoot board with open head slots. One odd thing about the museum is that there is a little typo that was found on one of the signs. This really sets the convention apart from other events and makes you wish other conventions would care about their history as much as Otakon does.

Type Moon Cosplayers Meet Up by Jared
It is rare to find a large group of Type Moon fans, but fans of the Fate series put together a late gathering for masters, servants, and the one Melty Blood cosplayer. It was a fun and light hearted event where everyone had a good time. It is the kind of gathering that works as an example of how a gathering should function. After the gathering several of the cosplayers got together to have ice cream and hang out.
