February 23rd, 2007. Loyola Marymount University. After an invitation from Brilliant Moon Cosplay, I decided to attend the second annual Japanese Culture Night (JCN). I mainly went to videotape and take pictures of Brilliant Moon Cosplay. Thanks to Stan, I was able to make it. We took Pacific Coast Highway all the way up to the LAX area.

So after much gossiping, we met with the rest of BMC at Aurora Hermione's dorm room. I don't think I ever been inside a dorm room that small, but at least they get their own bathroom. (Then again, I was spoiled to have a kitchen and living room when I was a Freshman at Sonoma State.)

Admission into JCN was $8, including food. I managed to finish my dinner before showtime. Stan, Matt Matt, and I held two tables for our group. It turned out we only needed one table. BMC was the second act to go up on stage. I got the video camera ready to shoot.

Stan took photos of BMC on stage. The video can be seen on youtube.

Once the show was over, it was random madness with BMC and friends. We all had dinner while watching the rest of the acts. The highlight was writing on post it notes and sticking them on each other. I started this because of Tom's desire to drop kick Fer. I wrote, "Punt Me" and posted it Fer's back. Lacie wanted one, so I wrote her, "Fuck me, Takumi." Then she wanted a "Fuck Me, Nobu." There were many post it notes flying all over the place. It was not until they were placed all over Carolyn's dollfie, Sebastian (CP El) a la Office Space, which was the fruit of the night. Well, most CP El's are fruits anyway, but Carolyn objects that her Sebastian is a poofter.

The night concluded in a classroom in which we were ensuing the usual madness between friends. However, it was already time to get home. It was a pleasant evening spent with friends. I did not come home emtpy handed. Tiffany gave me fabric and Justin gave me candy. Thank you, Aurora Hermione and Loyola Marymount for putting this event together!
