The Halloween weekend started off in Milbrae, a town just outside of San Francisco. In this hotel infested town was a convention, a convention of fangirls who go ga ga over girly looking Asian boys. If only my Asian American Studies classmates could hit this event. The guys (who so desperate of getting some because they can't at clubs) would probably have scored...or not? Then again, since your's truly doesn't dig boy on boy action (okay, Subaru and Seishirou is perhaps the only pair I like), Yah Oy Vey Con was simply just a get together of friends.

First, we drove to the wrong hotel - the Sheraton right across the street. Then we parked over at the Westin, but not many of the main events were happening at the Westin, but who cares, our friends are there!

And our friends had their resin friends over too! I caught what was left of the dollfie gathering at the poolside. The poolside area was pretty nice - indoors, palm plants, just beware of the kiddies splish splashing about.

I believe for the most part, Yah Oy Vey Con was spent in the lobby eating fries that tasted like fish. I met Hoshikage who shared her lovely pictures from Tokyo Disney Seas. As a Disneyland afficianado, I'd go for it. Then Mich and Kimi started talking about planning a mass exodus vacation trip to Japan. Hey! I'm in! Eh...just need to save up...

Then we ran into Liz and she wanted to take pictures. From that point on, we said bye bye's to Kimi and Mich. Then, we left.
