One of the traditions of Fanime is me getting a migraine at some point at the convention. On day three I woke up with a slight migraine and the fear that I would not be able to go to the Black and White ball. To make matters worse I had forgotten my migraine medication at home. Thankfully with the help of a hot shower, some aspirin Victoria had brought, and some ramen I felt a little better, but not quite good enough to go out to the convention.
Like Saturday, a ton of cosplayers showed up on Sunday. Yes, too much genki Akihabara music could make someone throw themselves off a ledge. We also ran into Cenia at artist alley. Cenia expressed interest in drawing for Scarlet Rhapsody. It was a pleasure to meet another Dead or Alive cosplayer. We went down to the maid café to meet up with our friend Charie who told us she would be working that morning. This was our second trip to the café this year and we were both looking forward to seeing the maids once more. The café was great and helped me get into a better mood. We played some games, had great sandwiches, and had a relaxing time with the beautiful maids. I will definitely be coming back to the Fanimaid Café next year, after all I cannot help but love cute maids and tasty treats.
Victoria went to another doll gathering after we went to the maid café. Like most of the weekend's doll gatherings, it was very humble. Only a few dolls showed up the Sunday afternoon meet up. After the doll gathering concluded, Victoria and I met outside to catch some fresh air. It was nice to get some sun for a change. I felt much better by this point, but my body was a little weak. Finally we decided to go back to the hotel room so I could get some more rest. After my nap, I got changed into a suit and Victoria had changed into formal Momo. We were ready for the Fanime Black and White Ball. But first, a few shots of our division five cosplay. We apologize to B Sapphire for not taking part in the Shounen Jump gathering, we were not keeping track of the time and we missed out on it. Our bad! And many thanks to the San Francisco State crew for always having positive energy, even if it means seeing G wearing a schoolgirl outfit. Pictures are copyright by Scarlet Rhapsody . If I took your picture, feel free to use it on your site or cosplay gallery. While you're here, do sign the guestbook. This site was brought to you by the font Ear Wig Factory. Many thanks to Chaz Boston Baden for the image resizing and watermarking program. |
