Saturday also marked the debut of the Traveling Valentine intern, Michael Ton-that. Yeah, that’s Tom’s brother. For the rest of Saturday, we wandered around the exhibit hall and artist alley. I sampled ginger candy with spastic results. Tom made a huge score at the dealer’s room, particularly at Gamers. He got addicted to their raffle. He already bought a Prinny plush and Black Gema armband and would by more later. I just did a quick look around. Most of my money was spent on doll-related items.

Of course, we ran into more dolls! I bought an evening gown for Eponine Kim from Spork Ninja. Eponine Kim plans to wear the gown at the Anime Expo doll get together.

Spot her doll!

For the most part, Saturday was very relaxed. After going through the dealer's room and artist alley, Tom and I found out that Anime LA had a suite at the Marriot. We thought we could pay a visit (and pay for pre-registration). Chaz and the two of us just talked about the future of Anime LA. Tom also scored an Outer Limits action figure. I just ate some sweets. More people came in, and we talked about fine arts.

Claudine, Tom, Michael, and I went to Johnny Rockets for dinner. Mmm…Johnny Rockets.

Tom and I did our tradition of wandering into the adult programming rooms. We waltzed into a round of Yaoi Bingo. Don’t ask how that works. We stopped by the artist alley and found Hiroyuki Yamaga and Sanada Asami signing autographs. Tom and I spent the rest of the night in the game room waiting for Michael to finish the Battlefield 2 tournament. While we were waiting, Tom attempted to win a Raichu plushie from a chance / skill game, but no luck.
