Tom wanted to get to the convention center as early as possible to get a good parking spot. Unfortunately, we did not find one, so we used convention center parking. I also wanted to be there early so I could catch the doll panel. I went to the information desk to find out Saturday’s schedule but it was not up. At least they told me off hand where the panel might be.

Tom and I went to the masquerade registration room. I ran into Aimee, administrator of Den of Angels and doll panelist, but she had no idea where the panel was either! However, things worked out in the end. Tom went around to shoot out footage. I just talked to various doll fans in line (as well as practicing differentiating brands).

The panel covered the Dolpa 14 coverage (now with subtitles!). Dolpa 14 had an exhibit hall of dreams. I couldn't help to think about my Aunt Imelda when I saw all those doll shoes. Claudine and Hitori joined me at the panel. Claudine became even more interested in owning her own doll. The panel ended with a raffle. I scored a few barrettes. Thanks Aimee!

Then Claudine, Tom, and I went to Pegasus Maiden’s tea party. We caught the tail end of it as well as a few comments about Gwen Stefani making Harajuku style her own.

Afterwards, we rushed Eponine to the doll gathering downstairs. We did a few interviews with the doll fans there. Also, it occurred to me that Eponine and Rei’s Toppi (dressed as a dude at the time) may be an item. Only thing is, does Eponine know that Toppi is really a girl?! It’s like Twelfth Night!
