I didn't just leave Fanime Con, but I also left Northern California. I left Tuesday morning after one final brunch with Tom and my parents at Denny's. I tried to hold back the tears, but was able too thanks to listening to hyper anime music. (Didn't want to cry in front of my parents. ^^;) I caught one last glance of him on the library intersection as he was about to make a right left turn back to his house. It would be less than six minutes for him to get back home. It would be six hours for me. This was my second Fanime and I enjoyed it as much as the first time around. Thanks to Sora and Will for getting their bums to Northern California (or at least the bay area). I miss everyone already. Each person that I have met and have run into made Fanime 2004 what it is to me. I know several friends who don't have a high opinion about Fanime, but to me, a con is what you make of it. The glass can be half empty or half full. True Fanime had it's slow and dull moments, but tried to make the most of it. Really nice seeing Adam from Sonoma State. Glad Tom and I could be an Integral and Walter for your Father Alexander! Oh, and thanks for showing Sora and Will the true meaning of yaoi. Lots of thanks goes to Kyle for the Lupin III photoshoot. I truly enjoyed looking at the pictures. They turned out wonderful. Thanks a bunch! Hope to have another photoshoot at Anime Expo! Thanks to the other con photographers for getting spiffy shots of my friends and I. ^_^v I wished that my SoCal friends made it up to Fanime had PMX not conflicted. There's always next year since PMX will be held Labour Day Weekend (though I may not be able to attend PMX then either). It just felt SoCal-less without certain people there. We missed you. ;_; It was truly wonderful spending one more weekend with my Northern California buddies before leaving for LA for the summer. I'll be back mid-August. I shall be living in THE CITY! Finally, away from the provincial Sonoma life I once lead. I already miss you guys. Fanime was great. Hopefully, I'll return next year.
