Jim Cummings by Jared the Greek
The show floor is made up of several stages showing off different mini-panels throughout the convention. These panels also include some big names like Jim Cummings who has starred in numerous voice roles like Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh, and Hondo Ohnaka as well as many more both for Disney and other companies. He was up on stage going through his various Disney voices while talking about his experiences behind the mic. It was fun learning about how he met the original voice for Winnie the Pooh or how he had to argue with himself in Bonkers. Jim Cummings is a fun guy and very nice to his fans if you have the chance to meet him at a convention do so because he is likely a part of your childhood.

Cast Member Legacy Awards by Eri Kagami Sews
Cast members are what Disney calls their employees. In the theme parks section of the expo, Disney had stage set up where cast members can talk about their experiences and latest happenings in the park. While there were a few scattered park related panels in the archives room and a parks general panel in Hall D23, this was a stage where cast members can talk about what's currently going on in the parks. We stumbled into this one on accident because we needed a place to sit after walking for sometime and the cast member up front said they would give us front row seats. We couldn't say no that! For this particular panel, it was honoring cast members with 10+ years of services in the parks. There were three that were receiving the highest honor of Legacy status. Their name badges would get an upgrade to a blue pin rather than the white one. Blue pin cast members are often greeted with "thank you for your service" from park attendees. This presentation honored cast members who headed attractions, maintenance, and a lead on Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters. Each cast member talked about behind the scenes stories and instances where they went above and beyond in the name of the mouse.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge by Jared the Greek
One of the most popular locations on the convention floor was the Star Wars area which featured exclusive art and models from the upcoming new region of Disneyland. It was later revealed to be called "Galaxy's Edge" but on day one it was still 'unnamed Star Wars region'. Even without a name it was still exciting to see all the posters and models for the region as those passing through made their guesses about the new region. The display that drew the most eyes was the scale model of the region which had three distinct regions an area that looked like Tatooine, another like Theed City, and an area that looks like earlier designs of Kashyyyk. Everyone was pumped up to see everything and it gave everyone high hopes for the upcoming new region.

Coco Previews by Jared the Greek
Pixar had a large section on the show floor featuring art and posters for their upcoming movies. One of the segments of their booth was a lounge with several seats and a large screen showing previews of their next project Coco. This included a making of featurette, a short featuring Dante the dog, and several trailers showing different aspects of the movie's story. This was both a nice way to relax on the show floor, but also a way to get exclusive preview of the next big Pixar film. These kind of lounges are a great way to relax at the con while being entertained.
