I had the case of the lazy Sunday mornings. I really didn't feel like waking up, but we had to check out sometime. Stan and Deb cosplayed Killer 7. The original plan was for them to do Killer 7 on Friday, but because of the lack of time, Sunday subbed for it. Eventually, we packed our gear into the car. We took the light rail back to downtown. It was like any other day at Comic Con International - crowds, crowds, and more crowds.

I breezed through the dealer's room. Of course, I just had to take a photo with the Quantum of Solace vehicle. Comic Con International needed more James Bond. Maybe I should have done a James Bond series related costume for 2008, ah well, something to keep in mind for future related Comic Cons!

I did not attend the official Asian Ball Jointed Dolls panel, but rather, I stopped by the Tonner booth in the dealer's room. Hey, their Harry Potter dolls almost rival Cynthia's Harry Potter resin kids! I was very happy that Tonner finally released a Cho Chang. I know Cassie and I have been waiting for a Cho to come out.

Who sent this "Taco Aizen" message to Tite Kubo?

Of course, there were a few cosplayers on Sunday. My personal favorite was Henry Jones from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade! One highlight was meeting a Gin Ichimaru cosplayer who noticed I was carrying a Burburry Blue Label purse. We just had to compare what brand labels we had in tow. I showed him my Louis Vutton wallet while he showed me his prized Coach wallet. Great to meet other label divas at Comic Con!

We all have our claims to Internet meme stories at least once at a con. I refer the area between the masquerade space and pavillion the Underage /B Zone. Not to say it was a bad thing, if it's one positive thing about cosplayers, they know how to party. I just had to join in the Caramel Dansen line just for fun. Hey, as long as no one's getting hurt, it's all good, right?

I stopped by the dealer's room to check out the independant press artists. After all, isn't that the heart of comic con? Independant artists trying to get their name around? It was a breath of fresh air because I've only been to the major booths. While the artist alley did not have Grayskull castle like Mattel, it was nice to see alternative comics by up and coming artists.

Of course, I ran into a few friends in the dealer's room. Velvy and Antonia were helping out Brocolli as booth babes. Unfortuantely, Brocolli did not have Tom's usual vitamin boost - the grab bags.

Meanwhile, I was setting up interviews for Justin's Internet podcast, Geek FM. Though we could not get Hollywood A-listers on the podcast for interviews, we hit the heart of Comic Con by targetting independant print and film artists. Though Justin comes from a stage performance background, he knew how to interview. Many thanks to Char for letting us interview Adam at Funimation!

Sunday was winding down. We finally made a rendez-vous with Deb, Stan, and Ramsey's. Deb suggested we meet up with them at the "Blah Blah Blah" Corridor. The reason why it's called that is because that's where we sang "Totally Fucked" to the long, long Mystery Science Theater 3000 line. There was lots of John Woo Mexican stand offs, Jersey Boys related sing-a-longs, and just random good times with friends.

The con was coming to a close at 5PM. There was a mass exodus out of the convention center. The crowd was crazy. We knew there was going to be traffic on the way home to the South Bay. We learned that the hard way last year. To wait it out, we went to Horton Plaza. The three stooges went to Game Stop and I went to check out a few brand label stores. We decided to watch a movie to kill time as well. Stan and Justin were feeling a manly bonding movie like Hellboy 2. The chicks were feeling a joyful Greek Sweedish flavored musical comedy, Mamma Mia! The theater was only playing the ABBA jukebox show, so we went to see that. Stan decided to take a nap. Deb and I started to feel some cosplay jones. Justin thought the movie was too gay for his standards. All of us wanted Pierce Brosnan to wield a Walther PPK rather than singing.

After the movie, it was the beginning of the journey home. We waited for the light rail to pass us by. It felt surreal waiting across the street from the now placidly lit convention center. The red line was no longer in service. It took us a good two hours to get back to the hotel to get to our cars. From there, we parted ways with San Diego.
