Anime Expo took place on July 1 - 4, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles. The convention drew in otaku of all walks of life. Some have travelled from out of the country to be a part of the world's largest anime themed convention. Anime Expo has been around since 1992 and has seen many changes through the years. This year promised one of the best guest of honor lineups yet. Anime guests included Megumi Nakajima and May'n of Macross Frontier fame. They also had the creator of Black Lagoon, Rei Hiroe and otaku blogger, Danny Choo. In addition, they had musical guests Sophia, AKB48, MELL, and a surprise visit by Yoko Kanno.
Anime Expo has ran into problems prior to the convention. However, the Scarlet Rhapsody team managed to find things to do during the convention and just take things as they go. This report represents our Anime Expo 2010 experience.
