A bottle of red and a bottle of white. Once Tom and I got our badges, the con was on. Originally, the Sakura Taisen gathering would take place at noon-ish. Problem? Registration lasted past noon. Luckily, we had the Sakura Taisen people together. It was Cheryl as Kohran (love that variation!), Ziggy as Ohgami, Tom as Kayama, and myself as Orihime. It was a quick photo op deal.

It was almost time to hit the hotel room. To kill some time, Tom and I went to the Starbucks in the Hilton. The Sorcerer Hunter people were there! We all chit chatted to pass the time. There was this one chick who was very outright at us. She told us, "You guys need psycho therapy." We were like, "What the hell is she talking about?" Obviously, she was one of those people from Kenneth Copeland Ministries. We had a wonderful debate with her. You gotta love people who say that people like us "will meet an early grave." *shrug* 

It came time to check into the Portofino. We met up with Andy and Nasir. We got ourselves settled and had a light late lunch of ramen and the quesadilla mom prepared. I had to get my schoolgirl get up ready. Unfortunately, I forgot to pack my navy blue skirt. I had my black skirt though, but went with it. Tom took a few pictures of him as Brad Crawford on the balcony. 

I took out Francesca (aka - my Gene doll) to get ready for the dolfie gathering. Tom and I went out to the con. We ran into friends like Sana, Pikmin, Lionel, Ace, and Tony. Tony spoke of a swing place nearby. Tom and I were curious. We wandered about the dealer's room. Tom won something at the Tokyo Pop area. Ran into Nessa and Mary. It came time for the dolfie gathering, and I was surprised that people didn't mind I had a Gene doll! It was wonderful meeting people at that gathering! *^^*

Then Tom got attacked by Karisu's hyper kid. Ran into Jenna and she invited us to dinner at Subway. We were quite hungry at that point. However, her group was quite indecisive. Ran into Sam-chan in her psychicer Yuna. We walked from the con center all the way to the next few blocks up Katella. Tom and I were looking for something to eat, so we settled with Tiffy's. Not the best place though. We saw Angela's group 'n company. 

Afterwards, we got into our Azudai garb and just spent time with the cosplay.com folks. I demonstrated the many characters that I can pull off in my AzuDai costume. What can I say? I love them all (well...maybe Tomo and Kaorin are exceptions to the rule)! Tom decide to show off his many uses for a black suit. Appeared that the Hilton was taken over by drunken princesses.
