Sunday, the last day of the convention. I chnaged into my Soletta Orihime costume for the Sakura Taisen gathering. Tom was going to go as Kyo, but since the wig didn't turn out all right, he decided to go as Spike. Jenna got back into Puchiko to do last minute dealer's room madness. Sora decided not to cosplay. By the morning hours, Will was already leaving on a jet plane to the windy city. I ventured outside to the Sakura Taisen gathering area. I was on time, no one was there. I went into the Hilton lobby and there was this Sakura Taisen fanboy who questioned the same thing too. I ran into Ziggy and Moo, so the four of us headed to the area where it would be scheduled.

I ran into Ace and Kenny. They informed me that some of my friends left early in the morning. I stuck around for a few Sakura Taisen pictures, and then left with Tom and Sora to do last minute shopping. Sora was on the search for a gift for her Trigun lovin' boyfriend. She eventually found a Vash the Stampede doll. I got myself a few dvds. Sora bought a really pretty Chinese dress. She was amazed by the sewing of it. ^^

Sora has a stalker

After the quick stop to the dealer's room, the three of us chilled in the lobby saying goodbyes to the people who passed by. I ran into Anti from the Unrivalved forums (though I barely post there). Iplay had their uber spiffy Fruits Basket uniforms, talked to them for a while. Said bye byes to my bay area crew. It was nearing 3PM, so we went to the Coastal lobby where we were going to be picked up.

Sora was happy to get out of the con. I felt indifferent. I was glad this con was over with, but I knew I would miss seeing the people that makes these cons worthwhile. Andrew rode with Tom so he can tail us on the carpool lane. We stopped to get lunch. We pretty much camped out in my room before hitting Los Angeles.

Yup, we even cosplayed in Los Angeles. Yet, Sora was still in her "fuck cosplay" mentality. We headed over to Universal City walk. Tom was Lupin III and I was a closet Fujiko Mine (I promise to do a better Fujiko at AniMagic! Working on it!). While we were in the area, we decided to go see a movie. We got this sweet deal for $20 for a movie and dinner plus parking rebate. Whee! What did we settle with? We saw this comedy called Terminator 3.

After the movie, we did some last minute looking around. Oh! Tom had fun posting the "Nice Try Guys" sticky in the movie theatre. There was this kiosk guy who stopped Tom and I. He mistaken us for a couple ("We're not dating yet!") and tried to sell his products. I helped Sora look for a store that was still open, but most of the stores were closing. We went back to my house and got a good nite sleep....
