Throughout
history there has been only one animal that has led the way for future
generations to live in peace and harmony. That animal is the Pembroke
Welsh Corgi, not to be mixed up with the lesser Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
It is believed that these dogs came from outer space in a spaceship
built to look like the Queen of England. When they arrived they began
to influence the future of the world.
Early Egyptian carvings show Corgi dogs battling against giant snakes.
More importantly the Corgi has been closely connected to the Mayan calender.
Many believe that the corgi is only a small herding dog that herds livestock
by nipping at the heels. This is a very mistaken belief as it is well
known that the Corgi led the Spanish Inquisition, which nobody expects.
Also the Corgi was there at the invention of the world’s funniest joke,
a joke so funny if you read it you die of laughter.
Welsh folklore says that the corgi was the favored mount of the fairy
folk. However, this cannot be taken seriously; after all it was told
to us by the Welsh. It is considered fact that the Cardigan and Pembroke
take their breed names from the counties of Wales from which they originate.
Once again this is disputed by scholar because it is a fact that comes
from Wales.
One may ask why the Pembroke is a superior breed to the Cardigan. A
person who asks that is an idiot and should join the competition in
the Upper-class Twit of the Year games. It is clearly obvious that the
Cardigan is inferior due to its tail, slightly more aggressive behavior,
and the fact that is has a rough outer coat that hides the soft inner
coat. The Pembroke has a fox like head, a more playful demeanor, and
of course a nub tail. Who does not love a nub? The Scottish probably,
but they don’t count because they are Scotts.
The Pembroke Corgi the greatest dog in existence, the creator of the
comfy ottoman, mascot of the corporate pirates, and favored pet of the
British Royal Family. Friend to mankind. Enemy of murderous barbers
and often sold at pet shops (usually alive unlike parrots). I suggest
you go out and get one, unless you are Scottish, Celtic, or from any
other barbaric land.
