Ah yes, the last day of AniMagic. Tom and I got everything packed by noon. Of course, we got into our signature Lupin and Fujiko costumes. Like my Nadeshiko cosplay, I ditched the wig. Wigs and heat don't work well with me. Tom picked up his prize from last year's Yakuza Gathering, a simple, but Lupin-friendly, crown (Castle of Cagliostro). Sunday was "bye bye for now" to our dear friends. For the most part, it was just chilling and chit chatting, which AniMagic is all about. Tom decided to go fishing in the pool. He used a cheeto piece for bait. I made a silly mistake. I left my memory card reader at home. Unfortunately, my memory stick can only hold 128 megabytes, so I had to resort using Tom's camera. Thanks Tom! To kill what time we had, Tom and I took funny Lupin III pictures including Lupin stealing donuts, burgers, and trying to break through AniMagic security. Then we had the usual Lupin III photoshoot. For the record, pictures from this point on are from Tom's camera. Tom and I left the convention at about 4PM. We went back to the I-14. No Avenue Q exit in sight to record for our amusement. We reached my house by 5:30PMish where a steak and fish dinner was waiting for us. (Okay, mom had to get dad off his lazy butt to get him to get the groceries) There was nothing like snuggling up to Family Guy... The next day, Tom and I went to Downtown Disney. The bar was closed at AniMagic, so we had our usual pina colada. I bought a few pins for my collection, including a few I meant to get last we were there, mainly pins with a 4th of July / Americana theme since 4th of July and Disneyland are sentimental to me being that Tom and I celebrate our anniversary during that time in that place. Tom got his Lego fix on and got something from Star Wars Episode Three. We wandered around the Disneyland Hotel where Anime Expo once took place. I once told him, back in my single days (aka Anime Expo 2000) that I've always wanted to take a significant other to the waterfalls area of the hotel, well fantasies come true. It's the simple things in life that make living magical. Pictures are copyright by Victoria Erica October 2005. If I took your picture, feel free to use it on your site or cosplay gallery.
