Saturday morning started off with ordering about a dozen towels from room service. I dressed up in my Elegant Gothic Lolita (loosely based on a dress I wore when I was four) and Tom went in his Zuki (Battle Royale novel and manga) costume. The day was much cooler than Friday. Tom's pompadour was such an attention whore. For the most part, we just stood around and chit chatted. I did the usual picture taking of amusing things. We went into the Anime Los Angeles room to grab some refreshments and lunch. The Con Chair was very generous serving out cold sodas and sandwiches. I met a few new faces like Tokyo Kitty and Lisa's sister. Tom and I started on our interviews with Jubei, Videl, and Matt. Followed by that was Christy and her kids. You can read their quotes on What Do You Do with a B. A. in English? Thank you guys for participating in our interview sessions. Saturday was our shopping day. The swap meet had much more interesting odds and ends. I purchased a few doll clothes for my Lien BJD. Tom also informed me about a seller with a Chidori (Full Metal Panic) costume. I gave it a try, and it fits pretty well. I showed it to Kat, who introduced me to Full Metal Panic, and she liked it. It was funny because we were going to do a Full Metal Panic group for AniMagic! Jarod informed us about an Advent Children showing in his room. Tom and I have not seen Advent Children, so we gave it a try. I won't give out any spoilers, but I will say it sucks to be Rude. The Yakuza Gathering started up in the poolside. I believe I was the official photographer for the small gathering as it was! For the most part, after the Yakuza gathering, we just chilled by the poolside. Tom learned how to ride a unicycle. Lisa and I started fighting over Tom - again. ^.~ Pictures are copyright by Victoria Erica October 2005. If I took your picture, feel free to use it on your site or cosplay gallery.
