Anime Central had a wide variety of guests of honor from a variety of different mediums. Scarlet Rhapsody attended three different press conferences during Anime Central.

J Michael Tatum

This voice actor has been involved in dozens of anime English adaptations. He is best known for Issac Dian (Baccano), Hirasawa (Eden of the East), Scar (Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood), and Sebastian (Black Butler). The press conference consisted of a Q&A with the voice actor talking about his background in acting and how he was able to get involved in the anime industry. He also talks about his favorite characters and how he would like to be Issac Dian for a day.

Michael Sinterniklaas

Best known for the voice of Dean Venture (The Venture Brothers), Michael Sinterniklass has had years of experience working in the US domestic anime industry. He talks about how he started out as an anime fan and moved on into working as a voice actor, ADR script writer, and ADR director. Sinterniklass also talks about his role in the hit film, Summer Wars. In the first of two videos, Sinterniklaas talks about his dismay with the current anime industry.

Hetalia Creative Team (Bob Shirohata, Mika Nomura, and Saki)

The last round of guests we conferenced with was the Hetalia creative team. Team consisted of Bob Shirohata (director), Mika Nomura (producer), and Saki (music producer). The team talked about working behind the scenes of the popular anime. Bob Shirohata mentioned that he wanted to work on a family friendly show because of the lack of family entertainment in Japanese television. The team admits not having a firm hold on history, so working on Hetalia was a learning experience throughout the production process. The team also talked about their favorite characters. Bob likes Japan and America. Mika likes all of the countries, but she has a soft spot for Nekotailia.
