While Anime Central 2007 was a whole new ball game, there were many uncanny parallels to previous Anime Centrals I have attended - some obvious, some just plain weird. I thought I would make a separate site for that.

+ In reference to the title image, a group of friends did a massive Love and Peace gathering that lasted for 15 minutes (before a photo countdown was discovered). Tom and I did a Love and Peace pose with Trigun creator, Yasuhiro Nightow.

+ I had an early flight back to Los Angeles, much like previous years when my Sunday was arranged before noon.

+ A couple of OTP cuteness was spooning in bed while everyone else in the hotel room was playing a game. Anime Central 2001 had Dance Dance Revolution. Anime Central 2007 had Uno.

+ Of all the people who flew to Anime Central, I was the only one who had an in flight movie.

+ Because of the Mother's Day weekend, it has been an Anime Central tradition to buy something Dejiko for my mom. My mom likes Dejiko.

+ Since 2002, I need to bring out the Read or Die. This time, I had a Donnie Nakajima with me. Thanks Tom!

+ In 2001, we had a one bedroom suite with a living room. We had the same arrangement in 2007.

+ I always end up cosplaying as some singer person. 2001 - (ghetto) Aikawa Nanase. 2002 - Francesca (Our Boys). 2003 - Orihime Soletta (Sakura Taisen). 2007 - Layla (Nana).

+ In 2001, registration misspelled Jen's name - Sora Kazenu. In 2007, registration spelled her name - Sora Kazemo.

+ In 2001, Robert and Emily DeJesus got married on the masquerade main stage. In 2007, the final masquerade act proposed to his girlfriend on the masquerade main stage.
