Sakura Con 2026 took place on April 3 – 5, 2026 at the Seattle Convention Center (Seattle, CA). This is the largest anime convention in the Pacific Northwest. This year brought in J-music acts such as Scandal and Blue Encount. Emi Nitta (Honoka in Love Live), Faye Mata (Astolfo from Fate), etc were some of the list of anime voice actors from Japan and on the stateside. Sakura Con can be controversial for locals; questionable ADA policies and a wishy-washy stance on idol programming. I have address the latter on my social media encouraging the convention to work with the kaigai idol community. However, the 20+ year-old convention is still going strong.<\/p>\n
I performed for Cosplay Wrestling Federation, Angel Hearts, and ran my Y2K panel. This was Angel Hearts’ Seattle debut, including Diana’s re-debut. I did have people approach me to sign their book but it was either in transit or I didn’t have a pen on me (my bad! I’ll have a pen on me next time around!)<\/p>\n
This report is named for Shania Twain’s iconic album as it suited my mood during the con. I yelled “Let’s go girls!” as we were about to go into our dance positions for Angel Hearts’ Seattle debut.<\/p>\n
