Anime Los Angeles 2022 (or ALA 17) took place on January 6 to January 9 in their new home in downtown Long Beach. The convention was held at the Long Beach Convention Center. The LBCC is no stranger to conventions – Anime Expo, Anime California, Long Beach Comic Con – have occurred in the downtown seaside venue. The event drew in guests such as Kazha, Les and Mary Claypool,\u00a0 Kira Buckland,\u00a0 Casey Mongillo, Team USA (World Cosplay Summit), and more. This was certainly a much more robust guest list than the last time we attended! Still in the midst of the Omnicron spread, the show still went on.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
