Wonder Con 2019 took place on March 29 to March 31 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The spring time convention drew in fandom from all over California. Wonder Con is a smaller version of the gigantic San Diego Comic Con. Same entertainment, same industry professionals in attendance, but light on the celebrity.\u00a0 While there were presentations hyping Shazam, Dark Phoenix, and other comic book properties, Wonder Con is all about the fans. The artist alley is filled with industry professionals and fans who make a living out of art. The dealers hall has nerdy tchotchke’s from Funko Pops to enamel pins to classic comic books and more! Wonder Con, while not as huge as SDCC, is still one of the biggest conventions in Southern California fandom.<\/p>\n
