Cosette is a happy-go-lucky little girl from Southern California. She was given to me as a gift from a family member who knew I loved resin kids. The Volks store was not far from his workplace and he bought me the MSD Mika kit. My friend, Mary, who got me into resin kids, assembled her and did her make up.
Cosette's original backstory was that she was from the future to save Eponine, but I decided to scrap that idea. Cosette is inspired by anime girls who are not entirely all there. Cosette is known for her non-sequitors ala Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. Cosette really enjoys sweets and can't seem to get them off their mind. She drives her "sister," Eponine, crazy with her random babble about sweets, candies, and shiny things. Despite Cosette's quirky self, she does have a heart as sweet as a parfait.
Cosette is often seen with either curly black hair or blonde hair. She has eyes to represent the dual simillarities to the family member who gifted her to me. She usually wears gothic lolita clothes and she will occasionally wear contemporary clothes.
Cosette has also caused a few contreversies. Some people mistake that this doll belongs to someone else. Cosette was a gift to me. Another fallacy is that people tend to assume that I, the owner, thinks of Cosette as a daughter. Those statements are false. Friends started referring to my dolls as my "children." I was never fond of being a mother to dolls, neither was I ever fond of the concept of baby dolls. The truth is, I am Cosette's owner and Cosette was originally meant to be a little sister doll.
In the "New Adventures of Cosette & Eponine," Cosette is voiced by Julia Doolittle.
