This was one of those patterns that was featured in Haute Doll. This was originally for the Ellowyne Wilde dolls. With a few adjustments, I sized it to fit a MSD girl. I really liked the style because I don't see much 1940s vintage clothing for ball joint dolls. I grew up collecting Gene Marshall dolls, and I thought it would be nice to have something that represents that time period when Dior and Channel suits were at their peak.

The biggest challenge with this pattern is the armholes and the sleeve band. Size those accordingly to your doll.

I really liked how this turned out. I just had to get really creative figuring out a closure in the front. Hook and eyes are your best friend!

The doll featured in this gallery is Eponine (Kid Delf Nara).
