I used to be a hardcore subscriber to Haute Doll. One of my favorite things about that magazine was that they featured doll patterns. Someone I knew from the anime convention scene, A. J., published an article on making Lolita style kimonos, or "waloli." The pattern was relatively easy to do. I was already versed in making kimonos.

If you have a chance to get your hands on this pattern, go for it. It is a fun and easy pattern to work with. I ended up making multiple versions of these waloli outfits for friends with the scrap fabric that I have!

The doll featured in this gallery is Eponine (Kid Delf Nara).
