I wanted to make another kimono for my doll. So, I decided to take the longer sleeved pattern on Undead Threads. This was during the time I had the small sewing machine that I picked up at Walgreens. I used fabric that I had bought at Fabric Outlet in the Mission District of San Francisco.
I really liked how this turned out. Eponine looks very Asian in this outfit. I suppose the wig also helps too. The only thing I would change about this kimono is to change the hem thread to gold. The small sewing machine did not have gold thread, so I had to use the default white thread. Otherwise, I really liked how it turned out, even moreso than the original green kimono I made earlier.
The doll featured in this gallery is Eponine (Kid Delf Nara).
