This is the first sewing project that I have ever worked on. The entire dress was hand stitched by me. I found an "Alice" pattern on Den of Angels. It was very easy to cut out and to line up with the fabric. I bought the fabric from Fabric Outlet in the Mission District of San Francisco.
Though the dress is very simple, I was very pleased with how it turnd out. I had a great sense of accomplishment upon finishing the yellow dress. I might fix up this dress to pass it down to Charlotte by adding an apron, buttons, and a collar. It would seem very fitting for a Southern girl.
The model in the photos is Eponine (Kid Delf Nara).
