It's a weekend of madness. Sakura Con, AniZona, Grindhouse opens in theatres, and Tales of Anime. The original plan was to hit Sakura Con with friends from AnimeFX, but due to monetary issues, we bowed out and settled for this little convention in the heart of San Mateo. I arrived in San Jose in the late afternoon on Thursday. Aside from driving Tom crazy (literally) to Fry's, it was great to be back in my second home, the Bay Area. This was the second Tales of Anime run by the same people that brought you Yaoi Con. The feeling was small, but intimate. A perfect place to catch up with friends I have not seen in a while. The turnout was rather small, less than 1,000. But Traveling Valentine covered enough ground to give you a taste of Tales of Anime.
