It was the one to end a summer of madness - San Diego Comic Con 2007. Tom and I never have been to a Comic Con together. There's a first time for everything. I attended for a day back in 2002, but I was only there to meet up with friends, rather than enjoying what the show had to offer. It was a different pace, a change of scenary. Not so much of a culture shock, but more of shock and awe if anything else. The tone of SDCC was set once Tom stepped into the massive dealer's room and found three of his fandoms in once place. Like Fred Astaire in Top Hat, he said, "Heaven, I'm in heaven..."
