Sakura
Con took place on April 9 - 11, 2009 in Seattle, Washington at the Washington
State Convention and Trade Center. Among many otaku, the convention
is nicknamed "Girugamesh Con" because of a viral
video that was popularized by /cgl. Surprisingly enough, there were
more Rickrolls and Carameldansens than Ramune Babies hollering "Girugamesh!"
Sakura Con also marks the debut of two new members
of the Scarlet Rhapsody's Traveling Valentine press team - Jared and
Sarah . With one short three day weekend, full of so much to do, there's
something exquisite that you don't want to miss it before it is all
through.
