After dinner at Denny's, Tom and I decided to visit the Dealers Room. There were a few items of interest including a shotgun which Tom coveted. There were a few Lolita caterers for the many Elegant Gothic Lolitas present at PMX. Believe me, there were tons of Lolitas. I picked up a Hinamori Momo pin for my bag. Tom picked up yet another boomstick, an airsoft shotgun with shells.

Most of the evening was all about chilling in the hotel lobby. Unlike most conventions we regularly attend (save for Sac Anime), masquerade (or Cos Fest) is a Sunday early evening event. Most of what was going on in the night were concerts.

Yet, our friends decided to take us to the karaoke room. Normally, we really don't go to the karaoke room. Yet, Julia mentioned that they also had English songs. At last, a karaoke room where none of us really had to be confined to anime, J-pop, and game music! Tom and I decided to sing "December 1963" by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. There was an hour wait, so Tom and I went down to the bar for drinks.

We also ran into our friends Anela, Jarod, and Deb in the lobby while waiting for our turn to sing. Luckily, the LAX Hilton is small enough so you can wander as you please!

We went back to karaoke and found more of our friends there - Stan, Julia, Caitlin, and Carolyn. They had plans to sing stuff. So, we were up to do "December 1963." It was funny because two guys did "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" also by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The karaoke hub was the place to be at PMX. This is where the real party was happening.

Julia appropriately sang "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. Carolyn sang "Johnny B. Goode." Tom and Stan beat the crap out of Jason. Tom and I were having a great time watching our friends sing, so we had to go up and sing again. Tom did "Soul Man." I did "Proud Mary."

As I said, the real party was in the karaoke room. We had a massive attack of the "YMCA" and "Numa Numa." I don't care much for either songs, but everyone was having a grand old time. Drama free! Yes, there was an all night dance happening too, but once some guy went up to sing "Katamari on the Swing," the place turned into the Dancing with the Stars floor (no pun intended) for Tom and I.
