Long Beach Comic Expo took place on February 17-18, 2018 in the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA. This was the first time in years the front part of the main convention center was used. In the past few years, the basement level of the performing arts center was utilized for space. This year, Long Beach Comic Expo brought in Aaron Covington, Andrea Romano, Steve Cardenas, and Joe Keery as headlining guests. Long Beach Comic Expo remains to be a small, family friendly con, and it has worthwhile programming, particularly for those who wish to be a part of the industry.

We have been covering Long Beach Comic Expo for the past several years. We have seen the ebb and flow of this show, and we were very excited to see how 2018 would fare. While the amount of programming is lighter than the fall show, it still holds well as "the comic con where you can catch up with friends."
