Saturday is the Big Bleach Day! The Bleach gathering occurred around noon. Yet, Tom and I were feeling the om nom nom's. Traveling Valentine: SVU were not able to bring their Bleach costumes this time, but Deb promises an epic Hitsugaya in the future. It was funny to see Tom drive to the convention in his night shirt and his hakama hiked to his knees.

Oh, and we so happened to park in Sector 7 in the parking garage.

Every Fanime, it's tradition to have a couple's meal at the restaurant in the Hilton hotel. The food was delicious as usual. Not bad for a meal that costs $15 a plate. It kept us full for a while. Who would have ever thought that Hinamori Momo and Ichimaru Gin would ever have a one on one meal together? Well, maybe talking about Gin's good old days in Division 5.

Bleach cosplayers were spread out all over the convention center. Fanime's got some soul (society)!

Suffice to say, we did not attend the official Bleach gathering. We went to the doll gathering instead. Our friends Darcy and Cynthia were wearing Bleach outfits as well. So we just had a mini gathering of our own. This was where all the cool Bleach kids were - at least the ones who can afford those expensive soul eating dolls.

Of course, cosplay was alive and kicking outside the convention center. Despite overcast skies and chances of rain, it did not stop them at all.

We ran into our friend Elizabeth dressed up as Orihime. She pointed out her Tite Kubo accurate boobs. Of course, Ichimaru could not resist. He wanted to compare them to Matsumoto's.

And now, it's time for Otaku Research Time with Gin Ichimaru. Today's lesson is how to deal with religious zealots at your convention. This is how Fanime attendees countered the situation.

It was a great photo opportunity for sign people. The Bay Area's favorite sign boy, Craig was riling the crowd - who had the better sign. Trinity Blood cosplayers saw it as an opportunity to pose for photos to promote the Church's doing.

Only one man could save us. One who walks among the water. Jesus Christ was definitely the super star of the moment. The King of Kings stepped out of the San Jose Convention Center to side with Fanime.

As if things did not get any weirder, the Anonymous stepped in to their their own version of "Simon Zealots" in the key of Rick Astley. Of course, one Christian Fanime attendee, stepped up to the protestors to talk sense into them - yes, you can be a good Christian and an anime fan.
