Angie and I first saw The Producers in San Francisco. I loved the show so much I just had to see again when it would play in Los Angeles. Jason Alexandar and Martin Short are so worth seeing on stage. Originally, it was going to be Saturday night, but I wanted to get the best possible seats I could afford for Tom and I. Friday night it was!

Tom decided to go as Spike. I wanted to go as Princess Mars. Get the Martian theme? Well, I would wear my grandma's 1940s type shawl over Princess Mars, but since mother didn't approve me going to Hollywood in my formal dress, I settled with my Audrey Hepburn dress.

Tom and I walked around Hollywood. Checked out some of the stores here and there. I got myself a floppy UFO type hat. (think Madoka from KOR) We went to a pizza place because the Hollywood and Vine Dinner was closed. Oy...never going to eat there ever again. The pizza was decent, but the milkshakes weren't milkshakes. More like chocolate water. x_x

Tom and I headed back to the Pantages to get our seats. I forgot how stunning the Pantages theatre was. The Pantages is definately the most beautiful theatre I've ever been in.

On with the show...so much better than the San Francisco production. Jason and Martin worked well together. Their improv worked. There were some San Francisco cast members in it including Josh Prince as Carmen Gia. The show was absolutely amazing and entertaining. This has some of the best one liners ever brought to the stage. The whole Springtime for Hitler sequence makes me wanna do a manga Hellsing masquerade skit. Tom really enjoyed this show, and I'm really glad he did. ^_^

Out of all my love interests, I never had someone who had interest in going to the theatre with me. When I was younger, I dreamed that my true love would kiss me in the parking lot of the Pantages theatre. I forgot about that 'til we arrived in Hollywood. Thank you Tom for making my dreams come true.
