Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con (The Con Fomerly Known as Comikaze) took place on October 29-30th in the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA. After a name change less than a month before show time, LA Comic Con joins the generic ranks of "comic cons" sprouting up across the country. Though LA Comic Con has nothing to do with San Diego Comic Con, it does attract several A-list celebrities in the entertainment world such as Stan Lee, Rob Liefeld, Alan Tudyk, Cary Elwes, Kevin Smith, the cast of Batman '66, and others. We have been attending LA Comic Con since the early days of Kentia Hall; this event has exponentially grown. Though not as huge or as crowded as Anime Expo or San Diego Comic Con, you can still enjoy nerd culture for the fraction of the former's ticket prices and easily get into panels and presentations. Most programming took place on Saturday and Sunday with preview events on Friday evening.
