After the CLAMP panel, we rendezvoused with Nando and Katie to check into our hotel room. We also ran into iPLAY during check in, who gave me the usual drive by hugs. We finally settled our things into the hotel room. Katie and I brought out our dolls. She wanted to hit the Ball Jointed Doll panel. I thought about going, but Tom and I did not have lunch yet. I kept my doll (Eponine) in my purse anyway and gave her a new wig. However, she did not want to wear it until she got a dress that matches the pink bows. Eponine also had presents for other resin kind like her.

Tom and I ate at the Oasis Cafe in the Hilton. $10 for burger and fries. But let me tell you that it was worth every penny. Fresh vegetables and a burger that does not taste like fast food. Tom and I took pictures of our Karen and Aoki costumes at the Hilton.

We went outside to hear our friend Hector (aka Mid Valley the Hornfreak) play some tunes on the saxaphone. Afterwards, we spontaneously attempted to watch the anime music video contest, but were turned away due to a full house. We decided to change into a different set of costumes. Tom went as Lupin the 1st and I went as Christine Daae from Phantom of the Opera (thanks to Amethyst Angel again!). Tom's Lupin the 1st could pass as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny. I could have done a few songs from Phantom as Christine, but my stomach was not feeling like it.

We also made a pit stop by the Hilton video room. We watched a favorite of ours, El Hazard (OAV). We thought, while watching El Hazard, "You know, they don't make anime like this anymore!" It was really nice to see El Hazard again, though I prefer the dub. Yes, I'm not afraid to say that.

We just wandered around Anime Expo in Victorian style until midnight. We went to the rooftop of the convention center  where we could see Disneyland by night. It was just the two of us (just like that "All I Ask of You" scene from Phantom!).
