Anime Expo came to an end on Monday morning. Because Tom would be leaving Tuesday evening, we decided to hit Disneyland on that very Monday. Since the last day of the con is usually dry, we decided to just go across the street to the second happiest place on earth. My mom was nice enough to grant us a pass that would cover for BOTH CA Adventure and Disneyland. $44 for this pass (Mom had a discount from work) was well worth it. We walked to the trams and ran into a few AX refugees on board.

It came time to check our bags. We still had several bottles of root beer and cream soda (plus my beloved Starbucks) in our's. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to have glass bottles in the park. Tom didn't want security to have their way. To fight the system, Tom kept drinking all the soda we had. I drank my Starbucks mocha and my cream soda. Afterwards, we were FAR from sober. That didn't stop the unspeakable horror that would await at CA Adventure.

We decided to hit CA Adventure first and go on the Tower of Terror. On the way, I was tortured by the ghastly sound of the B**ch Boys. I was never a fan of them. x.x Urge to kill rising...Anyways, we went on Tower of Terror for our first ride. It was better than I expected it to be. I think the ending gave me a seizure. So, we went around CA Adventure. There was a winery sorta thing that resembled where I used to go to college. Then there was this Exploratorium thing right next door to it. If only that were the case in real life.

I used to live around here...

So, we decided to go to the place that looked like Santa Cruz (less hippies and less banana slugs). So we hit CA  Screamin'. The only thing scary about that roller coaster is the surfer voice over. x.x As you can see, Victoria is not a fan of surfer types. Long story. Overall, the ride was pretty spiffy. Next one was the...um...Mailbomber? Again, it had another surfer type voice over. That was much scarier than being tossed up. We can see AX from here! Afterwards, we went on the swing type ride. I made Tom go through water landmines. Then we hit the other roller coaster - Muholland Drive. Then we went on the very phallic looking rocket swing ride. Nice view of CA Adventure from there. Then afterwards, we saw bits of a Mulan Parade of Tetness.

Since there was nothing more to do at CA Adventure (it wasn't even noon either!), we decided to go into the main park. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. We were greeted by a firemen sax quartet. Decided to go my usual route at Disneyland. Adventureland first. It's a system that always works with me to do everything in one day. We went on Jungle Cruise. Our guide seemed to lazy to give out a spiel. Took Tom on the Tarzan tree. I miss those attractions where you just walk through them and they give you the story. Sleeping Beauty's castle was already closed. We went to Tom Sawyer Island (aka Battle Royale Island) and took some BR related pictures on there. Haunted Mansion was next and great to share my favorite Dland atrraction with Tom. Up next was Winnie the Pooh. That was an acid trip. x.x

Afterwards, it was 3PM, almost close to our time to hit Indiana Jones. We ate at the country bear restaurant. We still had time to spare afterwards before we could board Indiana Jones. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean. Tom fell asleep, I tried to point out the hidden Mickeys. Afterwards, we hit Indiana Jones. After Indiana Jones, there was a parade blocking the way to the Mattherhorn. We watched bits of the parade before rushing over to the Matterhorn. Apparently, the ride broke down while we were on it. Then we hit It's a Small World. It was also Tom's first time. I pointed out the one Filipino related doll on there.

Afterwards, we went to Toon Town. Got our fast passes for Roger Rabbit because I have no intention waiting in that heated queue. We decided to hit Mickey's House first because Tom wanted to take pictures with Mickey and the Yuki stuffs. I haven't been inside Mickey's House in like ten years. Eh...we were able to tolerate the screaming kids. We went to the Chipmunk Tree. Man, I think we were too tall for that walk through! We killed some time at the Laugh Factory / Post Office area. To kill even more time, we just at around Toon Park. Goofy was garnering attention. It was about time to board Roger Rabbit. Pretty spiffy. In the same regards to reckless driving, we went on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. That was followed by Pinochio and Snow White.

On the way out, we saw a Garbage Man band in the middle of the street. Then we went on Star Tours. After that, we shared a dinner plate at the pizza place there. Good pasta I must say, but it's enough to make two people full. ^^v So, we went on Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Pretty spiffy stuff. I tied my record of Disneyland attractions at that point. To break the record in style, Tom and I went on Matterhorn to finish it off.

Because we have to include this guy!

We finished the mountain range over at Big Thunder Mountain. Fantasmic followed or what glimpse we had of it. Followed by Fantasmic was the fireworks. Sweet memories. *^^* There was a problem after the fireworks which was getting through the crowd. I had to go through loopholes to get to the other side to get to Splash Mountain. We eventually did, but it looked like a 45 minute wait. No more fast passes either. x.x Eventually, a couple gave us fast passes. Yay! After Splash Mountain, we passed by the rivers of America to see a jazz band float by. With time for one more ride, so we went on Indiana Jones. Yet another person gave us fast passes.

Disneyland this time around was great. ^_^ Absolutely the best time I've ever been to Disneyland. I broke my record of rides / attractions / events attempted at Disneyland with Tom. I have never went to Dland with a significant other before, and this was the time to do it. ^_^
