There was only one new costume for me. That would be Maki from Geobreeders. Tom introduced me to the series on Valentine's Day. Maki had this "Smooth Criminal" look and I just wanted to do that Michael Jackson thing. So Tom went as Yoichi Taba. We started looking for cats to kick around. We first ran into Pikmin who thought I was consuming booze. (When actually, I was consuming cream soda!) We got our pictures taken several times while we were outside.

Sailor Jam girls Gaia people! best...cosplay...ever...and I don't care if it's an anime con! A really nice original Chii

We decided to hang out in the dealer's for a while since it was hot outside. Did some anniversary present shopping for each other. I got Tom a Yuki hat. It appears that Funimation is going to release Momiji and Shigure hats! Yay! *^^* We also ran into Midvalley who sadly had to turn in his AX badge. It appeared he didn't have a permit to play his sax tunes. ;_; Tom bought me a Rabi en Rose fastner for my camera and a Siamese The Cat. Thanks Tom! To kill some time we read some manga here and there.

Afterwards, we headed over to artists alley to chill out with Tiffany and Eurydice. We took a few pictures around and about. We chilled out with Aura Girl and Man Kiki. Appears that Aura Girl (Kat) knew my good friend Adam from SSU. She even agreed he would make a spiffy Kamui. She suggested to me that I would make a spiffy Shermie. Maybe...just have to play the game first. Ran into Tony, and he played his ballroom goodness. ^_^

Then we ran into Karisu and family. Appears that craftsmanship judging this year got icky. Won't go into details because I think we've all heard the stories. Then it came down to planning dinner. We ate at the restaurant next door to On the Avenue. I settled for a yummy bowl of pasta while Tom had a burger. We shared our traditional pina colada. Sihaya and Lareath (?) paid us a visit. After our anniversary dinner, Keith (and the rest of Manga) were a few tables away from us. We chilled out with them for a while.

We went back to the room to change for the fireworks and relive that first kiss. We were nearly running late (like last time!) but we still had a good show. Keith and co were making fools of themselves on the balcony.

After the fireworks, we settled to watch the masquerade. They were still at the 8th entry. This year's show was all right. I liked the host. Definitely liked it better than last year's. After capturing most of masquerade, we just wandered around finding for people to chill with. Tom was too tired to do some ballroom dance in the Hilton lobby, but we danced anyway. For the rest of the night, we chilled with Karisu and co, and said our bye bye's to good friends.
