And so the secret behind Tom's cosplay schemes are revealed.

I changed to My Wife from Azumanga Daioh. Finally, I don't have to give serious and melancholy facial expressions in my pictures. Changing in the bathroom was quite claustrophobic. I've always had changing-in-bathroom-phobia ever since drama club. Anyways what followed next was the Yuriko Fuchizaki. That was really nice. ^^ Seeing her dance to the Sakura Taisen opening song with a few fans was pretty cool too. (wah! wish I could have some way to see the musicals!) She did a little bit on Jan Ken Pyon with the fans to win free stuffs. Tom almost made it to the finals.

After the spifftastic panel, we went to get Yuriko's autograph. We bought some watermelon right before masquerade. That watermelon was our first real meal of the day. x.x; Tom got suited up as we went over our masquerade skit.

Then it came time for the masquerade. Though I had my first meal of the day, I was still feeling pretty out of it. Umi, Ai no Hoshi, Nando, Rico, Richi, and other people I knew were all right next to me, but I was just waiting for the energy to kick in. Also, given that I was up since 6AM in the morning too. x.x;

I smille! I finally can smille!Maiyu doing her j-pop thing Gotta love those sweatdrops

The masquerade began with a performance by Maiyu. Yay! I really liked her performance. We love you Masako! *high five* The voice acting community is proud of ya! (psst...did you know she can act too? Check out my productions site under Butterfly Maiden. She has a part in it) That lifted up my spirits! Then the walk ons came on. There were some good ones and really funny ones. Then came intermission. Rob went up and sang the Japanese version of "A Whole New World." Maiyu performed again! ^^v And then it came time for the skits...

I think we did fine with our skit. We did the voice overs last night as a matter of fact. Psst...that's not really Tom singing Happy Birthday. There were really funny skits up there that I really liked. For us, the highlight of the masquerade was the open mike thingy. Honestly, I've never been to an open mic this fun! ^^ We had Final Fantasy girls singing Spice Girls, a black dude singing German, Quizno subs being shot at, Your's Truly paying some hommage to Fosse, Yuffie singing about love, and of course William Hung and his fan following.

Some people think out of the box. Tom steps out of it.

We didn't win anything, but that's okay. ^.~ I wanted to see Stella's band perform (and it's also been a while since I've heard a decent band), but we were running short on time since we had to load up the car. We were getting hungry for some real food, so we consulted Kenny what dinner plans we wanted. The school's directory system was giving us some problems on where was the nearest food place. Oy the vey. Yet, we decided on IHop. Tom and I weren't sure if we were to return to the con. So we said our bye bye's to some friends...

To make a long story short, we let Yami and company lead the way to IHop. Yet, the direction we were heading didn't seem right. We drove through downtown San Jose. After seeing a freeway sign to Los Angeles, we thought about going south instead. Finally, we saw the IHop, but it was closed. Eep! So we drove all the way down the street to the nearest Denny's. Yay! Did I mention we were listening to various remixes of William Hung?

Anyways, we all met up at Denny's for midnight madness. At this rate, we wouldn't be returning to the con. Lots of fun scarring the normal people. I'll let you take a look at the quote page to some of the scandalous things discussed. Then it came time to mix drinks and other food particles. ^^;; Then someone drank it - twice. Lots of crazy things happening! When Tom and I had to leave, we requested that Kenny should do his William Hung thing - again! Just how high on life were we?!
