On the morning of March 4, I gave Tom a call at 7AM wishing him a happy birthday. I went back to sleep and accidentally turned off the snooze button. Therefore, I missed out on my Tai Chi class. No biggie, but I made it to my Japanese History class. Right afterwards, I checked out the Asian events going on if they were selling any food. It was 11: 20, but food wouldn't be sold 'til noon. Tom was already at SSU in the parking lot. So I scurried over to Grenache to gather my stuffs for the weekend.

Miles and miles of vines lots of cows

We must have drove about an hour and fifteen from Sonoma to Milpitas. Lots of bovine and wineries to be seen. -_-; Tom got some spiffy Italian food as soon as we got to his place. I was feeling quite exhausted, so Tom and I cuddled in front of the glow of the computer to watch Face / Off. I haven't seen that movie in ages! You really have to see it...*_* I was able to recover after the movie. So, we saw bits of The Bride of White Hair. Didn't really interest me too much...

Then halfway through (heh, you just had to stop it when Leslie Cheung and Wolf Girl were um...yeah...you know...), we decided to go to the birthday dinner at Applebees. While waiting for Farah and Leilani, we went to Borders across the street to see if any new manga was out. No luck finding anything. (Hurry! Release INVU 4!) Finally went back to the restaurant and met up with Farah and Leilani. It was nice to meet Tom's high school friends. They're spiffy people. Farah was sharing the drugs! Now to get Tom to meet Julia and Bernadette...So, the next plan after the yummylicious dinner was to head over to arcade and karaoke.

Neko kissu! Deadheads sux0rz. It's all about the Nekoheads Happy Birthday Tom!

We hit MGL (Milpitas Golfland) for some DDR and Para Para goodness. Unfortunately, the Para Para machine went down, and so did the other games when it was 9PM. -_-; There was this place Leilani knew of called Manila Manila. So we headed over there for karaoke goodness. Most of the late night crooners were ladies in their 40s. Damn they were really good! One of them even sounded like she could be on American Idol (her voice sounds like she could be in her teens, but she's like 40), but she joked that she could be on Senior Citizen Idol. So, Tom did "Light My Fire" and "Don't Worry, Be Happy." I did "Mamma Mia" and "Through the Eyes of Love." Leilani did "I Could Fall in Love with You."  The amusing part about karaoke is the video that goes with the song's words. Tom had a priest checking out some chick. I had some rich white guy stalking some rich white girl in Manila. ^^;

So, about them manga raps?

Afterwards, we went our own ways. Happy Twentyish Birthday Tom! Though March 4th came to an end, the party ain't over yet. ^.~
