As everyone prepared for masquerade I decided to test out a new cosplay and take the night easy. For my adventures I decided to try out Hatori Soma from Fruits Basket because nothing says fun like a depressed guy in a lab coat. The first thing I did was make my way down to the AMV replay. Ironically I arrived during my action video “Fascination Street Fighter”. I ran into the contest head who informed me that my comedy video “Goldenpants” had won best comedy (both judge and audience). I was pretty psyched that my video had won and I took home a nice bokken as a prize. I carried my sword up to the hotel room with a nice sense of pride.

Returning to the lobby I decided to hang out and see how everyone was doing. I had been busy all of Friday and most of Saturday so this worked as a good opportunity to relax and enjoy the convention atmosphere. It was nice taking it easy and I got to talk to several friends while clearing my mind. Before I knew it the time was nearly eight. I had promised Postman that I would be at the ball joint doll gathering so I ran back to my room to pick up the little lady.

After grabbing a light snack and my ball joint doll (Kid Delf Aru) I headed down to the lobby for some ball joint doll times. As many know I am a bit creeped out by ball joint dolls and their owners (especially the owners). However, the gathering was rather mellow and the little lady was lucky enough to meet some new friends. Things quieted down in the lobby as the show progressed, which made taking photos a bit easier.

Around nine the Scarlet Rhapsody team came back from their skit. I took some pictures of them and we decided to change up back at the hotel room. At my hotel room we noticed that the hot tub had become a sausage fest so we decided to use the remainder of the night for more fun activities like room parties. We had some good fun and good drinks follwed by a last lap around the con for evening shots. It was past two when we got back to the room and went to bed.
